It is a member of high chemical resistant plastics family. The coefficient of friction is low and the sliding property of the PE is excellent. The moisture absorption of PE is too low. The molecular weight of the PE shows the type of material as:

 

1.      PE 300-HD (EASY WELDING)

2.      PE 500-HMW

3.      PE 500 REG. (Just in Blank and Green)

4.      PE 1000-UHMW (High Abrasion resistant)

5.      PE 1000 Reg (Just in black and green)

 

The increasment of wear resistance depends on the increasment of the molecular weight.

 

Working Temperature

Between + 90 degree to – 150 degree Celsius (PE1000)
